Series History: Dickinson and F&M will face off for the 183rd time since the series began in 1905. The Diplomats have an 111-71 series edge, including a 36-12 mark in CC action. F&M took the first meeting this season with a 100-90 overtime victory in Lancaster.  

The Garnet and Diplomats have squared off on 100 previous occasions, with F&M holding a 75-25 lead, including victories in the last eight meetings. F&M won 83-66 earlier this year at Swarthmore. 

Academic All-Region: Brandon Federici was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) All-District 4 Men's Basketball Team for the second consecutive year, announced last Thursday. To be nominated for the CoSIDA Academic All-America program, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore with a 3.3 or higher cumulative grade point average and be a starter or significant reserve.  

As an all-district selection, Federici advances to the CoSIDA Academic All‐America® Team ballot, where he has the opportunity to be honored as an Academic All-American later next month.  

F&M Last Week: F&M went 1-1 last week with a 67-57 loss to Johns Hopkins on Wednesday before taking down Washington 74-63 on Saturday. 

Franklin & Marshall's second-half comeback bid fell just short as the Diplomats dropped a 67-57 contest to Johns Hopkins. Full Recap.  

Brandon Federici finished with a game-high 17 points while Jared Wright netted 12 points with four assists. J.C. McGrath had 11 points with seven boards for the Diplomats. 

Kyle Doran paced Hopkins with 23 and Michael Gardner ended with 15. 

J.C. McGrath and Matthew Tate both netted 17 points to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 74-63 victory over Washington on Saturday. Full recap.

McGrath hit 7-of-12 from the floor to finish with 17 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds. Tate scored 17 off the bench and Brandon Federici netted 14. Hunter Eggers finished with 11 while Jared Wright handed out eight assists to go along with his six points.

James Drury had a game-high 21 for Washington and was the only Shoremen in double-figures.

Rebounds were even at 33-33 and F&M converted 21 turnovers into 23 points.

Around the Conference: Brandon Federici leads the conference with 20.5 points per game and his 51 steals, along with 80 triples this season, also lead the CC.  Matthew Tate is sixth at 3.3 assists per game and fifth with 33 steals. Ignas Slyka is third at 41 steals while Jared Wright sits in fourth with 38 steals. F&M is third at 74.7 points per game and second with a 44.9 field goal percentage.   

Playoff Picture: F&M clinched a spot in the Centennial Tournament next weekend. The playoff appearance is the 21st for F&M in the CC Tournament over the 24-year history of the conference. The Diplomats can climb as high as the two-seed depending on the outcomes of the two games this week. 

Regional Ranking: The Diplomats were ranked eighth in the latest NCAA Regional Ranking. Swarthmore in the only other CC Team ranked at fifth. 

Senior Day: Jared Wright, Lior Levy and Hunter Eggers will suit up for their last regular season home game this Saturday. All three will be honored in a pregame ceremony before the Swarthmore game. 

Last Time We Met Dickinson: Brandon Federici netted 13 points in overtime to help lift Franklin & Marshall to a 100-90 overtime victory over Dickinson earlier this season. Full recap.

Federici opened the extra frame with two triples for a six-point F&M edge and buried a three at 2:35 to make it 88-80. Dickinson came within six, 92-86, at 1:26 before Matthew Tate and Jared Wright both netted a point from the line to put F&M up eight. Federici hit three from the line after a double-technical on Dickinson for a 10-point F&M lead with 43 ticks left and the Diplomats were able to secure the win from the line down the stretch. 

Federici shot 10-for-14 from the stripe to finish with a season-high 33 points, just one point off his career-high. J.C. McGrath netted 14 and Tate finished with 13 points and four steals. Eggers had 12 and Wright ended the game with 11 points and four steals. 

Wright paced Dickinson with 23, Justus Melton had 19 and Mike Hinckley finished with 17.  

Last Time We Met Swarthmore: J.C. McGrath scored a career-high 30 points to lead Franklin & Marshall to an 83-66 victory over No. 16 Swarthmore on Jan. 14. Full recap.

McGrath shot 10-for-14 from the field and hit all 10 shots from the line for his 30 points. He also added nine boards. Federici netted 21 while Jared Wright finished with 13 points and five assists. Hunter Eggers added nine points and Ignas Slyka finished with seven assists and three steals for F&M.

Chris Bourne paced the Garnet with 18 and Robbie Walsh finished with 17. Cam Wiley had 12 and Sam Lebryk reach double-figures with 10 points.

F&M outshot Swarthmore 55-48-percent, and scored 30 points off turnovers.
