LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall baseball coach Ryan Horning named Ryan Luke as an assistant on the Diplomats' coaching staff for the upcoming season. Luke replaces Nate Mulberg who is now a member of the Bucknell University baseball coaching staff.
"I am very excited to welcome Ryan into the F&M baseball family," said Horning. "His leadership traits and winning mentality is exactly what our team needs."
Luke was a three-year captain at Moravian College, where he led the Greyhounds to four consecutive conference championship game appearances and a pair of NCAA Tournament showings. The third baseman was a three-time Landmark All-Conference selection, including two stints on the first team, a two-time All-Region selection and holds several top-10 marks in the program's record book. He ended his collegiate career with a .335 batting average, a .385 on-base percentage and a .472 slugging percentage.
During the 2016 season, Luke served as the Director of Baseball Operations at Lafayette College where he helped run the day-to-day operations of the program, along with coordinating team travel, on-campus recruiting and facility maintenance among other duties.
He graduated from Moravian in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Business Management and was the Vice President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
