LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall's Mack Glavin was named the Centennial Conference (CC) Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday. The honor is the Diplomats' second of the season, and the first of his career.
Glavin went 2-0 last week, not allowing an earned run in 12 innings of work and striking out four. The sophomore right-hander shutdown Ursinus on Monday, throwing five scoreless frames and allowing just five hits. On Saturday against Dickinson, Glavin went seven innings on the mound, allowing five hits and just one walk.
He is tied for the conference lead in wins with five and holds a 5-1 record on the season to go along with a 1.82 ERA in 29 2/3 innings pitched.
The Diplomats went 6-1, including a perfect 5-0 CC mark last week, overtaking the top spot in the conference heading into the final week of the regular season.
