F&M Set for Ninth Annual TeamWork Event

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall Athletic Department, along with the Athletic Leadership Council (ALC)/Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will sponsor TeamWork to wrap up NCAA Division III Week and kickoff F&M's Sustainability Week.  

F&M varsity teams, Greek organizations, houses and clubs will all participate on Sunday, April 15 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. for the ninth annual TeamWork event. TeamWork is sponsored by the Wohlsen Center, Lancaster County Solid Waste Management, James Street Improvement District and other local groups 

TeamWork was established by the SAAC in 2004 to celebrate F&M's community involvement and it continues to grow annually. This year, more than 800 F&M athletes, students, faculty and professional staff members have preregistered and will work with local organization and community members to improve the local Lancaster surroundings, making it one of largest community outreach programs at F&M. 

NCAA Division III week, which serves as a celebration by member schools of the division's unique philosophy that equally values academics, athletics and student-athletes' involvement in a full and rich campus life. More information on NCAA Division III Week can be found on the NCAA website.
