Diplomats' Winter Food Drive
Dec 3, 2008
LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Holiday Season is upon us, and so are hard economic times. The supply at Lancaster’s Central Pennsylvania Food Bank is running low, and the Diplomats’ Student-Athlete Advisory Council is joining the Ware Institute in an attempt to ensure that no Lancasterians will go hungry this winter.
Franklin & Marshall will collect canned food and other non-perishable items at all of its home games between now and the semester break. Students are encouraged to donate their leftover items at the end of the semester, while we ask that fans and parents attending games bring an item to benefit Lancaster’s less fortunate.
All donations will be handed over to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Your support is appreciated. Bins will be highly visible at entrances to all venues.
Collection will occur at the following events:
12/3 - Men’s Squash vs. Princeton – 7:00

12/6-7 – Swimming’s F&M Invitational – 11:00
